Chameleon: Chameleons are usually very territorial and will not interact with females unless they are forced to. To attract females, the males will bob their heads, puff up their throats, and will show of the brightest and most vibrant colors that they can. Some times though, two males will have to fight over a female. Chameleons have horns on their heads that they will usually use to ram each other when competing for territory or for a mate. This will usually leave no damage to the chameleons unless they are hit in the eye or in the chest near their lungs. After seeing the male demonstrate all of his good qualities, the female will decide whether or not she wants him as a mate. If the female doe not want him, she may run off or even attack and kill him.
